The Role-

As an HGV Class 1-Driver,-you''ll-be responsible for-the safe and efficient movement of trailers between distribution hubs and fulfilment centres, ensuring deliveries are completed on time while-maintaining-the highest standards of safety and professionalism.-

Your responsibilities will include:-

• Safely-operating-an HGV Class 1 vehicle across the UK.-

• Delivering and collecting trailers to fulfilment centres.-

• Completing trailer drop and swap movements.-

• Using satellite navigation and route planning tools to ensure efficient journeys.-

• Carrying out daily vehicle walk-around inspections and reporting any defects promptly.-

• Completing all relevant driver paperwork and ensuring compliance with transport legislation.-

• Building positive relationships with customers and site personnel through professional communication.-

• Adhering to all Driver Hours, Working Time-Directive-and road transport regulations.-

Please note:-This role involves-drop and swap trailer movements only.-No handball or manual handling is-required.-

Candidate Requirements-

To be considered for this role, you must have:-

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.-

• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.-

• A Digital Tachograph Card.-

• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.-

• The legal right to work in the UK.-

• A professional attitude with excellent safety awareness.-

• Good communication-and customer service skills.-

• Willingness to tramp / stay overnight in the truck to cover holidays.

A minimum of-1 year''s HGV Class 1 driving experience-is preferred; however,-newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.-

Successful newly qualified drivers will undertake a structured driver training programme and will-be required-to sign a-Training Rebate Agreement-following successful placement.-
