Cleaner - Crawley

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join the Facilities Management team in Crawley.

This is a part-time position, working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3.00pm - 6.00pm, reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor.

• Carry out cleaning duties in accordance with the required cleaning specification.
• Clean all surfaces, fixtures, fittings, floors and internal areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchens, catering areas, toilets and changing rooms.
• Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring it is used safely and effectively.
• Undertake periodic and specialist cleaning duties as required.
• Collect, remove and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Maintain waste bins and replenish cleaning supplies and consumables.
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages.
• Maintain a clean, safe, tidy and welcoming environment for staff, students and visitors.
• Report faulty equipment, damage and any maintenance requirements to the appropriate person.
• Help maintain the security of the premises, ensuring doors and exits are secured as required.
• Ensure lights and equipment are switched off when appropriate.
• Follow all health and safety requirements, including COSHH procedures.
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used correctly.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full support will be provided.
