Carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes and suspension systems. MOT preparation Carry out inspections Diagnostic work and fault finding You will also learn to use Ford''s in-house systems and complete paperwork such as job cards and service sheets. Qualifications/Experience: Able to conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity. Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Commercial vehicle experience (preferred but not essential) Driving license (preferred) Mechanic experience: 1 year (preferred) City and Guilds Automotive (preferred) 3rd and 4th-year apprenticeship will also be considered for the position IT literate.
