SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School Do you enjoy helping young people overcome challenges and get the most from their time at school? A secondary school in Hounslow is looking for a caring and dependable SEN Teaching Assistant to provide additional support to pupils from September 2026.This is a full-time Monday to Friday position, with the school day running approximately from 8:15am until 4:00pm.The successful candidate will join a team that is focused on removing barriers to learning and helping pupils feel comfortable, confident and included. You will work with students who may require additional support with their learning, communication, concentration, behaviour or emotional development.Your Role Within the SchoolYou will be an important point of support for pupils who need additional help to participate successfully in school life. Some students may benefit from regular one-to-one assistance, while others may need support within the classroom or during specific activities.Building trust will be a key part of the role.
