Our client in Southampton is seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Hand to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.Working HoursMonday to Friday - potential for some weekend working 8:00am - 4:00pm - some earlier shifts also availableKey ResponsibilitiesSafely move and handle 60-70kg sacks.Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.Support palletising and goods-in processes.Operate pallet trucks to move stock and materials.Assist machine operators with stock movement and general production support.Maintain a clean and organised production area, including sweeping, waste disposal and general housekeeping duties.Work effectively within a small team and follow instructions accurately.Adhere to all health and safety procedures.RequirementsPhysically fit and capable of heavy lifting.Previous experience within a warehouse, factory or production environment.Good understanding of safe manual handling practices.Strong attendance and punctuality record.Positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.Forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.If you''re a dependable individual looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing business, we''d love to hear from you.
