Job Role:

- Teaching a small class of primary-aged pupils with special educational needs.
- Creating individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to each pupil''s specific needs and abilities.
- Implementing creative and engaging teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Using a range of specialised resources and equipment to support pupil learning and development.
- Collaborating with support staff, therapists, and parents to provide a holistic approach to education.
- Assessing pupil progress and providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and the school''s leadership team.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in special education.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support pupils with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Resilience, patience, and adaptability in responding to the unique challenges of special education.
- Knowledge of current educational practices and legislation related to special educational needs.
