You will play a key role in ensuring timely payments and maintaining healthy cash flow for the business. Key Responsibilities: Managing the Sales Ledger and maintaining accurate customer recordsChasing outstanding debt via phone and email in a professional mannerSetting up new customer accounts and performing credit checksAllocating customer payments and reconciling accountsHandling customer queries and resolving issues promptlyPreparing aged debt reports and supporting month-end processesWorking closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies Skills and Experience: Previous experience in Credit Control, someone who is able to come in and hit the ground runningStrong communication and negotiation skillsHigh attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsAbility to work independently and prioritise workloadProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
