Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and group support to pupils with SEN, focusing on behaviour management and emotional regulationImplement tailored strategies to help pupils engage positively in learning and social activitiesWork closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals to deliver consistent supportAssist in creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for all pupilsMonitor progress and contribute to individual education and behaviour plansRequirementsPrevious experience working with children or young people in SEN settings Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPatience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situationsRelevant qualifications (e.g., Team Teach, MAPA, or equivalent) are desirable
