ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR LOCATION: EAST LONDON SALARY: £60,000 PER ANNUM HOURS: 08 30, MONDAY FRIDAY REPORTING TO: BUILDING MANAGER THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead the site-based engineering team and hard-services contractors across four premium residential buildings. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the day-to-day operation and maintenance of MandE, HVAC, life-safety, lighting, access control and water systems. Manage PPM, reactive maintenance, statutory testing and compliance in line with SFG20 and relevant legislation. Lead and support a team of engineers, including 1:1s, training, toolbox talks and performance management. Manage hard-services contractors, ensuring SLA/KPI performance, quality and compliance. Oversee fire safety, water hygiene, electrical safety, lifts, pressure systems and HVAC compliance. Respond to plant failures and emergencies, minimising disruption to residents. Maintain accurate engineering logs, asset registers, certifications and CAFM records. Support capital projects, lifecycle planning and energy-efficiency initiatives. Work closely with the Building Manager, Front of House team, contractors and commercial occupiers. Participate in on-call/emergency engineering support when required.
