Auto Assembly Operator
Help keep automated assembly running safely, efficiently and to the right quality standards. You will set, operate and monitor automated machinery used to assemble fasteners with washers, making routine adjustments, completing in-process checks and supporting production targets while minimising downtime. What you will be doing Set up, adjust and safely operate automated assembly machinery to product specifications and production requirements. Load fasteners, aluminium washers and EPDM liners into assembly equipment and monitor machine performance during production runs. Carry out in-process quality checks and routine machine adjustments to maintain assembly accuracy and product quality. Identify, troubleshoot and report machine faults, jams, quality concerns and process deviations. Complete production, quality and downtime records accurately, including confirming production orders using SAP. Work with Production, Planning and Quality colleagues to resolve order, quality and despatch issues. Maintain good housekeeping and follow company Health and Safety, quality, environmental and energy-management procedures. What we are looking for Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment is advantageous. Basic understanding of manufacturing and quality-control processes, with strong attention to detail. Ability to interpret work instructions, specifications and quality standards.
