Maintenance Technician

Our Client is looking for a time served mechanical and electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to provide a professional, high quality multi-skilled (electro-mechanical) engineering service. Hours per week 40 hours 05.45am-2.00pm / 13.45pm-10.00pm rotating days and backs Monday to Friday, flexibility is required to cover weekends also on occasion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of production lines and will be responsible for the following: Ensuring that all operations on equipment are performed to a professional, high quality standard Informing and updating Engineering and Production Management with regards to line availability following breakdowns Making sure that equipment is properly maintained, and identified faults are reported and logged so that corrective action can be taken Assisting with the planned preventative maintenance programs Collaborating with Production and Quality departments to improve output and efficiencies Record maintenance and results/resolutions for future reference Ensuring all parts are removed from equipment and the area is clear and safe prior to production line re-starting Essential Experience: Time served mechanical or electrical biased engineer Desirable Experience: PLC experience is advantageous but not essential, previous experience with in a FMCG would be beneficial 18th Edition Knowledge of HACCP / food safety IPAF Certificate Testing and inspection Experience in a faced-pace
