Our client, is seeking a talented Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their dynamic team in Reading. This permanent, full-time position offers the chance to play a crucial role in managing payroll and employee benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance while contributing to a high-quality employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly payroll data for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Maintain employee records, handling new starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
• Verify payroll information including salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
• Administer a range of employee benefits, including medical insurance and pension schemes.
• Respond to payroll-related queries with professionalism and efficiency.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities and support HR compliance initiatives.

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Proven experience with Sage 50 payroll administration (end-to-end).
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.
