This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established engineering team responsible for maintaining high-speed production machinery in a modern manufacturing environment. You''ll play a vital role in ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.Respond quickly to breakdowns, carrying out effective fault finding and root cause analysis.Maintain and repair PLC-controlled, high-speed production and packaging machinery.Work on a variety of equipment including industrial ovens, microwaves, HV transformers, slicers, sealers, metal detectors, and refrigeration systems.Support equipment optimisation, machine start-ups, and performance monitoring.Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system.Complete detailed shift handovers and engineering reports.Support and mentor apprentices and junior engineers where required.Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety, food safety, and ..... full job details .....
