Job Description:

• Provideandnbsp;individualised supportandnbsp;to pupils with a range ofandnbsp;SEN, includingandnbsp;Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC),andnbsp;ADHD,andnbsp;Speech and Language Needs, andandnbsp;Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
• Work closely with theandnbsp;class teacherandnbsp;andandnbsp;SENDCoandnbsp;to implementandnbsp;Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Use a variety ofandnbsp;differentiated strategiesandnbsp;to support learning, communication, and behaviour
• Foster aandnbsp;positive,andnbsp;inclusive, andandnbsp;safe learning environment
• Support pupils both in class and duringandnbsp;intervention sessions,andnbsp;break times, andandnbsp;off-site activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children withandnbsp;SENandnbsp;in a school or care setting (desirable but not essential)
• Be aandnbsp;calm,andnbsp;empathetic, andandnbsp;adaptableandnbsp;team player
• Demonstrate a strong understanding ofandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;child development, andandnbsp;inclusive practices
• Possess excellentandnbsp;communicationandnbsp;andandnbsp;interpersonal skills
• Be committed toandnbsp;ongoing professional developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;collaborative working
