Job Description:
- Provideandnbsp;individualised supportandnbsp;to pupils with a range ofandnbsp;SEN, includingandnbsp;Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC),andnbsp;ADHD,andnbsp;Speech and Language Needs, andandnbsp;Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Work closely with theandnbsp;class teacherandnbsp;andandnbsp;SENDCoandnbsp;to implementandnbsp;Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Use a variety ofandnbsp;differentiated strategiesandnbsp;to support learning, communication, and behaviour
- Foster aandnbsp;positive,andnbsp;inclusive, andandnbsp;safe learning environment
- Support pupils both in class and duringandnbsp;intervention sessions,andnbsp;break times, andandnbsp;off-site activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children withandnbsp;SENandnbsp;in a school or care setting (desirable but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;calm,andnbsp;empathetic, andandnbsp;adaptableandnbsp;team player
- Demonstrate a strong understanding ofandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;child development, andandnbsp;inclusive practices
- Possess excellentandnbsp;communicationandnbsp;andandnbsp;interpersonal skills
- Be committed toandnbsp;ongoing professional developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;collaborative working
