Payroll Manager (part-time)

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Trowbridge area who are actively seeking to engage a Payroll Manager (part-time) to join their team on a permanent basis. What you will be doing:As Payroll Manager (part-time), in this key role you will be responsible for :Manage and oversee employee payments across the business, ensuring remuneration is in line with contractual and statutory requirementsCollating, checking and entering payroll information including hours, deductions and bonusesProcessing BACs payments to employees, HMRC and third parties including pension submission / data reportingEnsuring payroll queries are resolvedManaging the administration of company benefits including company vehicles, income protection, life assurance and salary sacrificeInvolvement with a number of internal departmentsRegular reporting What you will need to succeed:A proven track record delivering a fully managed payroll serviceKnowledge of payroll legislation including HMRC requirements relating to tax, NI, Apprenticeship Levy, RTI, auto-enrolment, PAYE and off payroll workingPrevious experience of payroll and pension year end processesExcellent IT skills including payroll systemsFirst rate attention to detail and strong analytical skillsPayroll qualification (e.g. CIPP) also an advantage although not essentialWhat you will receive in return :Competitive salaryFull-time Monday to Friday 20-25 hours per weekFlexibility with part-time hours - part-days or full days
