SR2 is partnering with a long-term client who is driving a transformation towards a cloud-first operating model. We’re looking for a
3rd Line Support Engineer
to act as the
BAU escalation point , leading and mentoring two junior engineers to ensure seamless day-to-day IT operations. This role is hands-on and process-driven, ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex issues, bringing structure to operations, and guiding others in a collaborative, forward-thinking team culture.Key Responsibilities
Serve as the
3rd line escalation point
for Azure, O365, networking, and infrastructure issuesLead and mentor a small team of junior engineers, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and developmentDrive BAU excellence across cloud infrastructure and on-premise networking environmentsTroubleshoot, maintain, and improve enterprise toolingSupport the transition towards a modern, cloud-first operating modelEnsure adherence to processes, proactively identify issues, and implement long-term solutions across the IT stack (endpoint, access, network, cloud)Maintain documentation and foster knowledge sharing within the teamIdeal Candidate Profile
Strong hands-on experience with
Azure, O365, and networking principlesProven background in
IT infrastructure or 3rd line support rolesComfortable acting as an
escalation point
and guiding junior engineersProcess-driven, organised, and proactive in problem resolutionA collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skillsBased within South-WestThe Details
