A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major data centre construction project in Slough, working with an established UK main contractor delivering complex, high-value construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with experience managing projects from pre-construction through to delivery and handover. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors, controlling programme and costs, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring works are completed in line with programme, budget, quality and safety requirements. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and site teams throughout the construction process. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and implement effective mitigation strategies. Oversee project planning, sequencing, resource allocation and short-term look-ahead programmes. Manage project budgets, costs, variations and commercial risks in collaboration with the commercial team. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, site procedures, quality standards and project specifications.
