Our client is a well-established and respected engineering manufacturer based in Bedford. Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, they are looking to recruit an experienced TIG Welder to join their skilled production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated welder who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working on a variety of precision-engineered components.

As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components to customer specifications while maintaining excellent workmanship and safety standards.

• TIG welding stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel components.
• Welding thin gauge and precision-engineered fabrications.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Preparing materials prior to welding.
• Inspecting finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Working as part of a busy manufacturing team to achieve production targets.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

• Previous experience as a TIG Welder within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Able to weld to a high cosmetic standard.
• Competent reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience welding stainless steel is essential.
• Aluminium welding experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
