Solutions Architect / Solutions Designer

OverviewI am looking for a Solutions architect / Solutions designer with an application / data background to join an Insurance Brokerage client of ours to work with some of their business customers across the UK to identify, shape and facilitate delivery of fit to purpose solutions which will meet business needs.

This role will also include application migrations and application system landscape definition. Working on digital broking portals and govern IT investment across their Business and Systems change portfolio.

Responsibilities

Identify, shape and facilitate delivery of fit-to-purpose solutions to meet business needs

Lead application migrations and define the application system landscape

Work on digital broking portals and govern IT investment across the Business and Systems change portfolio

Collaborate with business customers across the UK to ensure solutions align with needs and governance requirements

Ideal experience

Experience within the Insurance industry

Experience governing solution implementation (ensuring they are secure, compliant and reliable)

Experience promoting reuse of existing solutions, use of standards and alignment with policy to reduce technical design debt

Advise on opportunities to exploit technology solutions

Technical Knowledge

Business Analysis/Architecture/Designer exposure

Strategy and Roadmap production

Analysis and Design capabilities

Governance frameworks

Project and development lifecycles

Insurance industry applications knowledge
