Academics, a leading national education recruitment agency, is working with a number of secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors.

With both full-time and flexible opportunities available, this is a fantastic role for graduates, aspiring teachers or anyone with experience working with young people looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

• Supervise pupils across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.
• Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies.

• Confidence and a professional classroom presence.
• Experience working with young people (schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work etc.).
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• A flexible, reliable and proactive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.

• -95100 daily pay, paid weekly via PAYE (dependent on experience and client rate).
• Flexible working to suit your availability.
