Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed building floor plans and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Prepare accurate 2D engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain accurate 3D models and designs.
• -Interpret engineering specifications, project briefs and existing drawings to produce clear design solutions.
• Coordinate drawings, models and technical information with engineering teams, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Review drawings and design outputs for accuracy, consistency and compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.
• Manage drawing revisions, document control and technical updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Respond to technical queries, assist with design changes and resolve drawing-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve drawing quality, design efficiency and engineering processes.
• Contribute to the development of new and existing engineering solutions.

Experience Required

• Experience producing detailed building floor plans is essential.
• Proven commercial experience using 2D AutoCAD to produce detailed technical drawings.
• Practical experience in 3D modelling and design is essential.
• Ability to interpret building layouts, engineering drawings, technical specifications and design requirements accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality technical documentation.
• Strong organisational skills, including managing drawing revisions and coordinating technical information.
• Good communication skills and confidence liaising with colleagues, contractors and suppliers.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying practical design improvements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
