to lead and evolve our hiring strategy, develop our people operations, and help build a team that thrives in a fast-paced creative environment.This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role focused on building high performing teams, creating best in class people processes, and ensuring Nonsensical remains one of the most exciting and rewarding places to work in the creative industry.Here’s what you’ll do for usLead all hiring across the agency - from planning and sourcing through to hiring and onboardingPartner with leadership to forecast needs and shape workforce planning across teamsBuild a consistent pipeline of top-tier talent in creative, strategy, production, and operational rolesImplement scalable and inclusive recruitment processes that reflect our values and cultureOversee freelance hiring and manage a trusted network of external partnersPeople Operations and DevelopmentLead the people function day-to-day, overseeing onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews, and development frameworksPartner with managers to support employee growth, career paths, and goal settingCreate and implement HR policies that support our remote-first, creative working cultureIntroduce tools, processes and initiatives that support a high-performing, happy and engaged teamAct as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people mattersCulture and ExperienceBe a visible culture leader within the business, supporting initiatives that nurture creativity, inclusion and collaborationDesign and deliver regular team experiences, workshops and wellbeing initiativesGather and act on employee feedback to evolve how we workWork with the leadership team to shape and evolve our benefits offeringSkills, experience and characteristics3+ years in talent acquisition ideally in a fast-growing creative, media or digital agency.2+ years in people/HR leadership helping shape cultureProven experience building recruitment functions and successfully scaling teamsDeep understanding of people operations, including performance, employee relations and engagementHighly strategic, but comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting things doneStrong working knowledge of recruitment and HR tools (e.g. Workable, BambooHR, Notion, Slack)A confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skillsPassionate about building inclusive, values led workplacesA natural problem solver with strong judgement and attention to detailFamiliarity with TikTok, creator culture or creative industries is a bonusWhat else do we offer?
