Role: Industrial Cleaner Location: Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Rate: 12.85 per hour PAYEShifts: Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm, Fridays 7:30am - 12:30pm (with opportunity for extra hours in the mornings and Friday afternoons) We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Manufacturing Cleaner to join a busy manufacturing site based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within an industrial working environment, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.Key Duties Include: Clean and maintain toilets, washrooms, locker rooms and welfare facilities to a high standard. Clean and sanitise canteen areas, kitchen facilities, tables, worktops and food preparation areas. Ensure communal areas, corridors, entranceways and meeting rooms are kept clean, tidy and presentable. Replenish consumables including toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels and cleaning products. Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures. Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and surface sanitisation. Report maintenance issues, damage or hygiene concerns to the appropriate department. Follow company health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Complete cleaning schedules and records as required.
