Maintenance Person
Location: Cannock
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
Salary: £12.71 per hour this may increase depending on skill set
Enhanced DBS is required 

Caretaker / Maintenance person 

I am looking for a Caretaker / Maintenance Person to join my client’s team based in the Cannock area. This is a hands on role and is important that the right candidate is maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs around the school.
• Liasing with contractors
• Sweep and keep outdoor areas clean and tidy.
• Ensure the school grounds are well presented.
• Complete paint touch-ups and basic decorating when required.
• Put up notice boards, displays, shelving, and other fixtures when needed.
• Open and secure the school gates at the appropriate times, ensuring they are locked once pupils have entered the school and again after the school day ends.
• Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
• Support the school with other caretaking and maintenance duties.
