• Technical Advice & Support
• Project Review
• Incident Management
• HSE Compliance
• Overseeing Permits
• HSE Monitoring
• Risk Identification & Mitigation
• Record Keeping
• Client Interface

Requirements of the Health and Safety Advisor

• NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate
• Technical/Certified member of IOSH
• Preferable experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil engineering contractor in a H&S advisor role
• Highly developed professional communication skills
• Be able to confidently and effectively communicate with all levels of the workforce, contractors, clients and regulatory bodies
• Be self-motivated, focused, reliable, well-organised, flexible, possess good team working ethic
• Enthusiastic about health, safety & environmental issues
• Possess strong computer literacy, including good working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite
• Full UK driving licence
