Job Title: Domestic Gas Engineer
Location: North Essex & Colchester (Mobile Role)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience and productivity)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join our growing team, covering North Essex and Colchester. This is a mobile role involving servicing, repairs, and installations within domestic properties.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service standards in occupied homes.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Working hours typically between 8:00am – 5:00pm (dependent on workload and time of year)

• Overtime opportunities available

• Monday to Friday only – no weekend work

• Call-out rota of 1 in 4

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems

• Boiler installations and system upgrades

• Fault finding and diagnostics

• Completing Landlord Gas Safety Certificates (CP12s)

• Ensuring compliance with current Gas Safety regulations

• Providing excellent customer service

• Completing all relevant documentation electronically

Requirements (Essential Qualifications & Experience)

• Valid Gas Safe Registration

• ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications

• Proven experience in domestic servicing and repairs

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in a mobile role
