Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Experienced Compressed Air Pipe Fitter on behalf of our client based in Witham, Essex on a permanent basis.Roles and ResponsibilitiesInstall aluminium, copper, stainless steel and threaded steel pipework for compressed air and industrial gas systemsRead and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical specificationsMeasure, cut, thread and bend pipework to required dimensionsInstall pipe supports, brackets, hangers and clampsAssemble and connect pipework using mechanical fittings, brazing, soldering and welding techniques where requiredCarry out pressure testing, leak testing and commissioning of completed systemsDiagnose faults and carry out repairs and preventative maintenance on compressed air systemsReplace damaged components and ensure systems are operating efficientlyWork alongside electricians, engineers and other trades to complete projectsEnsure all work is completed to health and safety regulations and company standardsMaintain a clean, organised and safe working environmentTravel to customer sites as requiredAdditional ResponsibilitiesAssist with project coordination and site installationsSupport and mentor junior pipe fitters where requiredComplete installation reports and relevant documentationEnsure projects are completed to agreed timescales and quality standardsExperience, Skills and QualificationsMinimum of 4-5 years'' experience as a Pipe Fitter, ideally within compressed air or industrial ..... full job details .....
