JOB - Production Technician LOCATION - Hampshire TERM - Permanent SALARY - Up to £40,000 This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in precision engineering, manufacturing or production to join an established aerospace engineering environment. The successful candidate will operate specialist lapping machinery, finish precision components and carry out quality inspections, ensuring all parts meet exacting specifications. Training will be provided where required. The Production Technician will ideally have: Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing or production environment Experience in lapping, polishing, deburring or component finishing (advantageous) Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers Good understanding of quality inspection and engineering tolerances Ability to follow engineering drawings, work instructions and specifications Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets and deadlines A safety-conscious approach and understanding of workshop Health and Safety A reliable, hardworking and flexible attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team The Production Technician role will involve: Setting up and operating lapping machinery to finish internal and external component diameters Lapping and polishing precision components to meet required tolerances ..... full job details .....
