Are you a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering looking for an exciting opportunity to join an Engineering Consultancy with over 50 years'' experience, offering structured graduate training from day one allowing quick salary increases and promotions, direct support from a director and the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects?

As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you''ll support the design of energy-efficient building services, including heating, ventilation and cooling systems. You''ll prepare calculations, drawings and technical documents, attend site visits and work alongside senior engineers on projects across commercial offices, education, healthcare, residential and heritage buildings.

Joining a small London team, you''ll benefit from close mentoring and an individual development plan, helping you build technical confidence and progress towards chartership. You''ll see how your designs translate into working buildings, with potential for hybrid working as you develop in the role.

The Role

• Support mechanical building services design across varied projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and equipment schedules.
• Attend site visits and project meetings alongside senior engineers.
• Help coordinate designs with engineers, architects and contractors.
• Develop your understanding of low-carbon design, energy efficiency and building regulations.

The Person

• Degree qualified, or completing a degree, in Mechanical Engineering.
• Interested in mechanical design, building services and sustainability.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Keen to learn through structured training and practical project work.

Previous placements or familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit would be useful, but are not essential.
