Trainee Project Manager Required in Essex GVR Solutions are currently working with a well-established building and refurbishment contractor who are seeking a Trainee Project Manager to join their team. As a main contractor, they deliver a varied range of projects across the education, healthcare, commercial, heritage and public sectors, with schemes ranging from smaller refurbishment works through to larger construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Support the Project Manager with the day-to-day running of allocated projects, assisting with actions and follow-up tasks. Assist with project programmes, understanding work sequences and tracking progress against key dates. Attend sites, liaise with site teams and subcontractors, and flag any issues affecting programme, quality or safety. Assist with the procurement of materials, plant and subcontract packages, checking lead times and availability. Gain experience with valuations, variations, purchase orders, subcontractor costs, invoicing and project forecasting. Help maintain project records, including meeting notes, updates, actions, photographs and client information. Assist with quality checks, snagging and gathering documentation required for project handover. Follow company and site procedures, supporting with RAMS, toolbox talks and site records where required.
