Domestic Abuse Support Worker- Female Only

In this rewarding role, you ll provide practical and emotional support to clients adults and children - with a range of complex needs, helping them to stay safe, rebuild confidence and regain independence through one-to-one and group-based support. Provide personalised support to individuals and families in refuge and community settings. Carry out risk assessments and create tailored safety and support plans. Work closely with partner agencies to ensure long-term wellbeing and independence. Support awareness-raising, group work, and community engagement. Maintain accurate records and contribute to service monitoring and development. To be successful you will bring: Proven experience supporting vulnerable people (paid or voluntary) Strong communication, organisational and report writing skills Understanding of safeguarding and a non-judgemental, person-centred approach A positive, inclusive and flexible approach Full UK driving licence and access to a car Willingness to participate in an on-call rota (approx. one evening per week and one weekend in five) Desirable: Relevant qualification (e.g. IDVA, ISVA, Health and Social Care) Experience in crisis work or with complex needs Knowledge of domestic abuse, housing, or benefits systems Group work facilitation experience Due to the nature of the role and environment, we can only accept applications from females.
