About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our transport team based in Rushden, NN10. This role involves night trunking to RDC''s. Key Responsibilities Operating a Class 1 vehicle in a safe and compliant manner Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects Maintaining delivery paperwork and PODs Adhering to driver hours, WTD and road transport legislation Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all delivery points Driver Requirements Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience within the UK Aged 25 years or over (insurance requirement) Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card No more than 3 penalty points No major endorsements (DD, DR, IN etc.) Comfortable with manual handling duties as and where required Strong reliability and time management skills Assessment Process All applicants will be required to complete: Driving assessment Interview with the Transport Manager Licence and compliance checks Pay and Benefits Guaranteed 50 hours per week 25 days ..... full job details .....
