Selection of correct oven temperatures and track speeds. Setting up equipment. Control of pre-treatment to clean and treat parts. Ensuring correct preparation of parts before painting and how they are placed on line. Understanding powder paint properties. Understanding coating defects, their causes and how to rectify. Carrying out quality checks on coating finish, including DFT and Gloss readings. Carrying out stock checks of paints and recording on system. Recording details of painted parts and results of quality checks. Maintaining equipment, ensuring all equipment is cleaned after use.
