Intermediate Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer - To -48K + Package + Ongoing Training

Due to growth, I''m looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer for a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in London.

You''ll be mentored by a Chartered and supportive Mechanical Director and be responsible for assisting the Senior Mechanical Engineers with design, sizing, calculations and attending site and design team meetings.

As a Junior Mechanical (HVAC / Building Services) Design Engineer you''ll receive ongoing training and support so you can progress to an engineer level within the next year and start leading your own projects.

Key Duties.

• Production of HVAC design calculations on projects across RIBA stages 2 - 4a.
• Carrying out duct sizing, pipe sizing, layouts, plant sizing, heat loss and heat gain calculations, and pressure drop calculations.
• Assisting with the design of hot and cold-water services.
• Marking up AutoCAD drawings for the CAD staff to finalise
• Attending design team meetings with contractors, client''s or architects.
• Ensuring your HVAC designs are coordinated with the Electrical and Structural Engineers.
• Attending site visits and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) to develop your understanding of the building services industry.

Requirements

• Degree (Or HNC / HND) qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Able to use Bentley Hevacomp, IES, Revit or AutoCAD.
• Previous hotel, residential, commercial office or mixed-use project experience.
• At least two years'' experience, working in the Building Services industry.
