Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Health and Safety standards and practices within the organisation. This role is designed for an ambitious individual eager to develop their expertise in Health and Safety management. Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of the company''s Health and Safety Management System. Ensure adherence to company health and safety policies, procedures, and standards. Support the development and review of new HandS policies and procedures as required. Monitor changes in health and safety legislation and advise management on necessary adjustments to ensure ongoing compliance. Manage the process of conducting and reviewing risk assessments (general, specific, and COSHH). Implement and monitor control measures to mitigate identified risks. Lead the investigation of all incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventative actions. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of incidents to relevant internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies (e.g., HSE, OSHA) as required. Analyse incident data to identify trends and inform proactive safety initiatives.
