What You''ll Do as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant:

• Work 1:1 with students who have special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, and social-emotional challenges.

• Use your understanding of psychology to adapt activities and behaviour strategies to meet individual needs.

• Support the class teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

• Observe, monitor, and report on student progress-ideal experience for aspiring Educational Psychologists.

• Develop strong relationships with students to build confidence, promote emotional wellbeing, and foster academic progress.

What We''re Looking For in a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

• A Psychology (or related) degree - ideally with some understanding of SEN or child development.

• Experience working with children or young people (in schools, care, tutoring, or volunteering).

• A patient, empathetic and proactive approach.

• Someone who genuinely wants to make a difference in the lives of young people.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
