We are currently working with an established sub-contract sheet metalworking business based in Redditch, who are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Quality Engineer''s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Maintaining Quality manuals, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. Manage and develop QHSE policies, procedures and programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment. Conduct supplier audits Review all quality debit notes in a timely fashion. Undertaking a hands-on inspection role to ensure components are produced to the customer specification. Support APQP and PPAP activities. The ideal candidate for the Quality Engineer will have: Ideally held a similar role. Come from a solid engineering background Ideally have an Engineering qualification (HNC or HND or higher) A good knowledge of manufacturing processes Good customer facing skills The ability to read engineering drawings in various formats. Experience of working in a hands-on inspection role and be competent using all relevant equipment.
