JOB TITLE: Payroll AdministratorSALARY: £32,000 - £35,000STRUCTURE: Hybrid - 3 days office after probationLOCATION: Essex - Colchester A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Payroll Administrator to join a great team based in Colchester. Responsibilities: Oversee the full client payroll setup and processing cycle across a wide range of industries. Accurately configure and maintain payroll data, ensuring compliance with RTI and client-specific requirements. Handle client enquiries related to payroll, including benefits, expenses, and statutory deductions. Manage BACS submissions, pension auto-enrolment, and statutory payments such as student loans and maternity pay. Generate and distribute P45s, P60s, and payroll journals, ensuring alignment with HMRC regulations. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all payroll setup and processing matters. Skills required: Previous experience in payroll administration with exposure to client payrolls. Strong attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines.
