Network Architect Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, who is seeking a Network Architect for an initial six-month assignment with the option to extend.Location: Milton Keynes - Hybrid workingThe ideal candidate will hold an active security clearance and possess a strong background in Network Architecture, with the following skills and experience: Experience developing network architectural strategies for cyber security, cloud services, data centres, and storage solutions, working in public sector or defence-secure environments.Extensive knowledge in both Low-Level Design (LLD) and High-Level Design (HLD) for Cisco network design, demonstrating proficiency across a diverse array of technologies, including IP routing and switching, network virtualisation, LAN, WAN, cloud, and data centre solutions.Significant experience in delivering effective network security solutions utilising firewalls, specifically Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Cisco Virtual Security Gateway.Proficient in the design, configuration, and maintenance of F5 load balancers.A comprehensive understanding of security principles from the NCSC, GDS, Secure by Design and NIST, along with experience in UK government technology strategies and policies.
