Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, for one of our clients based in Oldbury. As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for performing reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical machinery across the site, reporting directly into the Maintenance Manager. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities: Reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical machinery across the site Investigating faults with plant and equipment, completing any necessary repairs Supporting the day-to-day manufacturing process Effective recording and monitoring of all engineering/production-based issues Troubleshooting problems and suggesting improvements Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Details: Location: Oldbury, Birmingham Salary: 35,000 - 38,000 PA Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm and Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements: Prior experience working within Mechanical Maintenance City and Guilds Part 1 and 2 in mechanical engineering Experience of planned maintenance and continuous improvement Good attention to detail Fitting skills with the ability to weld and fabricate Hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding experience Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Benefits: 33 days holiday (inlcuding bank holidays) Company pension scheme Discounted Gym memberships For more information, hit apply
