Assembly Technician

Assembly Technican Occasionally some overtime may be available. Milton Keynes, This is a fulltime (37,5 hours per week) 6 month contract to cover a leave of absence. Certain Advantage is working on behalf of a global manufacturing company, they are actively seeking an Assembly Technican with knowladge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems. Requirements:Knowledge of and experience in both mechanical and electrical systems is a requirement.Battery assembly and testing experience is preferred but not required.You should be able to read technical drawings and work instructions.Have experience with both hand tools and machinery is required.Usage of testing equipment such as volt meters is preferredAbility to follow build and test work instructionAbility to work on ad-hoc technical tasks.Ability to work well within a team as well as individually Your responsibilities will include:Mechanical and electrical assembliesMaintain a clean and tidy workplaceActively participate in continuous processes improvementParticipates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee developmentFollowing HandS policies and reporting proceduresParticipate in troubleshooting operations and engineering trials/builds to resolve issues and improve manufacturing processes Job Summary:Operates machines and production equipment independently in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment and may instruct or coach others.Follows
