Category ManagerLondon Salary up to 70,000 + excellent benefitsAn exciting opportunity to join a successful, family-owned international wholesaler as Category Manager, taking ownership of either BWS or Fresh categories.We are looking for a commercially driven individual who can develop category strategy, drive sales and maximise margin and profitability.Key responsibilitiesDeveloping and delivering category strategies.Managing range, pricing and promotional activity.Driving sales, margin, retail POR and cash profit.Negotiating supplier agreements and building strong supplier relationships.Analysing market and category performance to identify growth opportunities.Managing product availability and developing the customer proposition.Supporting and developing Category Assistants.About youYou will have FMCG wholesale or retail experience within buying or category management, with:Strong commercial awareness and judgement.A proven ability to drive sales and profitability.Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.Strong analytical and supplier management capabilities.A results-driven approach and the confidence to challenge and influence.The packageSalary up to 70,000.Private Medical.Pension and Life Assurance.30 days'' total holiday, including bank holidays.Onsite parking.Interested?
