Maintenance Engineer - Foundry WEEKEND SHIFT - FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 06.00 AM - 06.00 PM We have two vacancies Mechanical Fitter Maintenance Electrician Our client have a need for 2 experienced Maintenance Engineers ideally someone who is familiar with equipment and machinery that is relevant to the foundry industry Location: Lye Duration: Permanent after trial period Responsibilities To ensure foundry plant and ancillary equipment is always operated efficiently. Undertake fault diagnosis and repair in a heavy engineering foundry environment. Work on own and as part of a team carrying out routine PPM, reactive and minor repair works as assigned by the Engineering Manager Workflow team ensuring all deliverable KPI targets are met or exceeded. Experienced in installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, equipment and components. Installation, repair and maintenance of foundry machinery and components including supporting services; mechanical transmissions, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment as required. Provide detailed inspection, fault finding or troubleshooting and diagnosis of operational problems in foundry plant and mechanical equipment and promote ideas to optimise productivity and manufacturing output. Contribute to business improvements initiative and help identify root cause of persistent downtime and recommend plans to improve and optimise plant performance.
