Sous Chef, RG4 Reading, Daytime hours, up to £38kWe are recruiting for a strong Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie to join our clients team at this prestigious site based near Reading, Berkshire.As well as the restaurant and bar, the kitchen also caters for functions, events and weddings. Menus focus on seasonal ingredients and all food is cooked from fresh.What you ll be doing: Supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operationsOversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistent qualitySupervise and work with the kitchen teamAssist in menu planning, stock control, and orderingManage kitchen standardsStep into the Head Chef role when required Working hours are 40-45hrs per week including weekends. Shifts are 7am 4pm. Thursdays finish at 8pm (shifts for this are on a rota)What we are looking for: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step upPassion for food and high standards of presentationStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to remain calm and efficient under pressureStrong leadership skills with excellent communication Interested?
