In the summer of 2024, renowned British chef Jackson Boxer took the helm of the restaurant, reimagining the food offering against the backdrop of a full restaurant redesign. Head ChefDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Set-up the kitchen prior to the restaurants opening.Organise prep for a section to be done throughout the weekSupport Junior staff, and show them correct methods of prepSupport the kitchen team by taking over a section.Maintain a high level of food quality and production with the aim of exceeding our guests expectations.Wrap unused items and store them in proper areas at the end of a shift.Clean and sanitise the kitchen and its areas before the restaurant closes.Adhere to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.Apply all Health and Safety and food quality regulations.Communicate with the Head Chef when maintenance/ repairs are needed for the kitchen equipment.Knowledge of how to complete paperwork and the kitchens due diligence.Stay up to date with culinary trends and kitchen processes.Support the Head Chef in designing and creating menus of small plates and dishes that fit the vibe and aesthetic of the restaurant.ABOUT YOU:Experience in a similar role.Have a strong team spirit.Attention to details and customer needs.Good organisational and leadership skills.Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.Be well spoken with excellent communication skills.Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.WHAT IT IS LIKE TO WORK FOR US?Whether youre looking for an entry-level employment or a new opportunity to evolve, we make a point to recruit, develop, and retain the most motivated and talented people from all backgrounds and skills.
