This is a great opportunity for an experienced planning professional with strong knowledge of planning administration and application processes to support the smooth and efficient running of the Planning Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist administrative support across the planning service, managing planning application processes from start to finish and dealing with a wide range of internal and external enquiries.Key experience required includes: Strong experience working within a Local Authority Planning environment.Good knowledge of planning application processes and procedures.Experience administering planning applications, appeals, committees, press notices and Land Charges.Experience validating a range of planning application types and interpreting national and local planning requirements.Ability to assess drawings and plans against relevant planning requirements.Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when dealing with data entry, correspondence and GDPR requirements.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide advice and guidance to members of the public and internal ..... full job details .....
