Design Manager - Power Infrastructure Hampshire Up to £70,000 + Car / Car Allowance Flexible / Hybrid WorkingAn established infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of projects across the UK power sector.This is a key technical role, overseeing the design process across complex electrical infrastructure projects and working closely with engineering, project and construction teams from early design through to delivery.The RoleYou will be responsible for coordinating design activity across multiple engineering disciplines, ensuring solutions are practical, compliant and aligned with project requirements.Key responsibilities will include: Managing design development throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinating civil, structural and electrical engineering disciplines.Reviewing technical information, specifications and design documentation.Managing design interfaces between engineering and construction teams.Supporting project teams with technical queries and design changes.Monitoring design programmes, resources and engineering deliverables.Identifying and managing technical and design risks.Supporting site surveys and project meetings where required.Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, specifications and safety requirements.Working collaboratively with internal teams, clients and external design partners.
