Tooling Design Engineer required for long term contract assignment based in Bolton (minimum two days per week on site)Overview of department:The Tool Design Team is at the heart of a rapidly evolving and high demand sector, delivering smart, adaptable tooling solutions across a wide range of aerospace projects.Responsibilities:Deliver practical and innovative tool design solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goalsRe-engineer existing solutions updating models, configuration and associated documentation.Manage your own project timelines and priorities ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.Skillset/experience required:Ideally HNC/HND qualified with significant experience in Tool Design and DefinitionMust have a significant amount of 3D modelling experience and be able to assess 3D models for their quality.
