This role involves supporting pupils in Years 5 and 6, with a particular focus on SEND provision and dedicated support for SATs preparation. The successful candidate will play a key part in helping pupils feel confident, engaged, and ready to thrive academically and socially.About the Role You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCo, and Year 6 leads to provide tailored support that helps all pupils access the curriculum and prepare for key assessment points. Your responsibilities will include:Supporting pupils with additional needs or SEND, including in-class support and small-group focus.Assisting pupils during targeted intervention sessions to boost confidence and attainment ahead of SATs.Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning in literacy, maths, and comprehension.Supporting classroom routines, transitions, and behaviour for learning.Helping pupils develop resilience, organisational skills, and self-esteem during this crucial phase of primary education.Collaborating with teaching staff to adapt resources and scaffold learning where needed.Ideal Candidate ProfileE
