This is an exceptional opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a specialist consultancy working on some of the UK''s most fascinating historic and heritage buildings. You''ll gain exposure to a diverse range of surveying, project management and conservation-led projects while playing a key role in the growth of an ambitious and expanding business where you can accelerate your career.
This growing consultancy specialises in Building Surveying, Project Management, Party Wall matters, defect analysis and repair projects across historic and listed buildings. Working on unique projects including churches, forts, castles and other heritage assets, the business has ambitious growth plans and is looking for a motivated Building Surveyor to become a key member of the team and go on to lead a division as they grow.
In this role, you will split your time between site visits, home working and office-based work. You will undertake building surveys, project work, defect diagnosis, contract administration, tendering, procurement and client liaison across a varied portfolio of projects throughout London and the Southeast.
The ideal candidate will have Building Surveying experience, strong building pathology knowledge, excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in the historic built environment.

The Person
- Building Surveying background
- Associate RICS, RICS member or working towards chartership
- Strong building pathology knowledge
- Experience managing projects
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Genuine interest in heritage and historic buildings
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Ambitious and motivated to develop long-term
